TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND RULES

Rules for 70+ Division

  • For the 70+ tournament

    • 11 vs 11 on normal size pitches with normal size goals. Some matches will be played on grass surface and some on artificial grass surface .
    • All matches will be played on modern turf surfaces.
    • Match time: 2x 25 minutes. The half time break cannot exceed 5 minutes.
    • All teams will play 5-6 matches.
    • Players born in 1952 or earlier are licensed to play.
    • It is allowed to use 4 players born in 1953 or 1954.
    • It is not allowed to use more than 2 players born in 1953 or 1954 at the same time.
    • Matches will be played according to the rules in the Laws of the game with the ekseption of the above mentioned exemptions

Rules for 75+ Division

  • Number of players at each team: 5
  • All teams will play 5-6 matches.
  • All matches will be played on grass pitches
  • Players born in 1947 or earlier are licensed to play.
  • It is allowed to use 3 players born in 1948 or 1949.
  • It is not allowed to use more than 2 players born in 1948 or 1949 at the same time.
  • Pitch size: 30 meters x 40 meters.
  • Size of penalty area: 5×13 meters , and Goal size: 1.5 X 3.0 meters.
  • A team can consist of up to 10 players. One of the players must be the goalkeeper.
  • The goalkeeper is allowed to block and box the ball with his hands, but not allowed to hold the ball.
  • All players can be substitutet at all times.
  • A match cannot begin if one of the teams consist of fewer than 3 players.
  • The teams must be wearing the same color shirts and shorts. The goalkeeper’s shirt must differ from the other players.
  • Match time: 2 x 25 minutes. The half time break cannot exceed 5 minutes.
  • The Off-side rule will not apply.
  • All free kicks are direct. Distance rule minimum 5 meters.
  • Penalty kick distance is 5 meters from the goal line in the middle of the goal.
  • Corner kick (football law), distance rule minimum 5 meters.
  • Coaches and reserve players must stay on the sidelines.

Points

The teams are placed according to points won.

  • 3 points for a win
  • 1 point for a draw
  • No points for a defeat

 

Equal Points

In terms of equal points after completion of all games, the priority is the following.

1)    Fewest non-apperances 

2)    The goal difference in all group matches  

3)    Greatest number of goals scored in all group matches

4)    Greatest number of points obtained in group matches between the  teams concerned

5)    Goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams concerned

6)    Most scored goals in the matches between the teams concerned

7)    Most wins

8) Drawing by the tournament administration 

If the result in knock-out matches is a tie, the winner is determined according to the rules that applies to 2 x 5 minutes of extra playing time, possibly penalty shootout.
